I don't have a gif to describe how decimated my mind is knowing I'm looking at the surface of another planet as if I was there myself

By the time we are all around the age of 80 (or dead), do you think we will have human colonies on Mars?

Looks like they were doing some skids
Pretty legit how sort of open NASA are with the public with them streaming the countdown to the landing etc and then releasing photos to the media in a fairly diligent and timely manner.

Doubt we will have colonised by then if we ever do. Too impractical economically unless we build a space elevator first, which would then require the discovery of a material lighter and stronger than graphene with the ability to implement it into a structure such as the massive fuck off tower we'd need
