Wellington LAN 2013

Event Information

Adversity Gaming is proud to announce the return of AvT Wellington LAN for 2013!

Situated high above the CBD, with views of the magnificent Wellington waterfront, the five-star Amora Hotel ballroom will be the first stop on AvT’s LAN calendar for the new year. With hundreds of New Zealand’s best Xbox gamers going head-to-head for the top spot in their respective games, this is set to be the biggest console event the country has ever seen!

The upcoming releases of both Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 and 343’s Halo 4 will see both titles on offer for this event, with gears of war 3 to complete the shooting category.

We will once again be working with Standing Fierce to provide a range of fighting game tournaments including Super Street Fighter IV: Aracade Edition 2012, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, Street Fighter x Tekken, and the soon to be released Tekken Tag Tournament 2.

Wellington LAN has moved from Capital E in Civic square, across the road to the Amora Hotel on Wakefield Street:

The Amora Hotel Ballroom is a magnificent 600 square metre room located on the 6th floor of Amora's 5-star Wellington Hotel. In addition to the main gaming area, there is also a spacious lobby area for relaxation, which has views out to the Wellington waterfront.
